About
From Real Expeditions to Thrilling Stories

I’m Aaron R. Linsdau. I decided to become an author in the middle of a polar storm. Literally. Trapped in a tent during a raging Antarctic whiteout, somewhere between exhaustion and revelation, I made a vow:
"If I make it through this, I’m going to publish a book."
No roadmap. No mentor. No clue how to start. Just a raw spark and the mindset: do it anyway.
A year and a half later, I published my first book, Antarctic Tears. Since then, I’ve written across multiple genres—survival nonfiction, cinematic thrillers, field-created art, and even science. I picked up violin and piano in my fifties, often recording music solo in the wilderness with improvised gear. I share the grit behind the work because too many people wait too long.
I believe in honest stories, dangerous dreams, and the kind of inspiration that only shows up when you go way out there.
This all started with sharing practical guides to help others stay safe and prepared on their own expeditions. Today, the mission continues through edge-of-your-seat fiction—stories built on real danger, real history, and real survival.

I’m a polar explorer and bestselling author who skied solo to the South Pole and survived temperatures as low as –80°F (–62°C) in a tent. I’ve spent years in the world’s harshest places—facing storms, crevasses, and brutal cold—and now I bring that raw energy into every book.
Whether you’re escaping into a high-stakes thriller or mastering winter camping, every book here comes from the same place: authentic experience and a passion for pushing limits.
